I have recently received an iphone 12 on a business contract with O2 from my work. Can I add my personal line which is currently with EE as an additional line?

Yes, you need to text to get your PAC from EE Guide: How to get your PAC [June 2021 Update]

Then get a sim only tariff from O2 https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/sim-cards

You'll need one of the tariffs to be on an eSim to run both numbers together.
