My O2 App Returning Error Code 27

I've been unable to login to the MyO2 app on my iPhone for a while now. Two online chats with 'gurus' told me to reset my password, which I have done - twice. The app still does not work. When I input my PIN it returns this message: "Something's wrong. Please try again later (Code 27)" It's been like this for over a month now and I can't use the app. I'm using an iPhone 4s with IOS 6 (yes, 6!) and both gurus assured me that it would work with this setup.

PS. Just checked and it's 8.0 and up only, sorry.

It may well be not supported on iOS6 anymore.
Have you tried calling CS rather than using chat?
