make sure you have wifi switched on and select your home wifi from the list. Enter the password or key (case sensitive) and you should see it connected.

Is the wifi key greyed out? If so see http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1559

Can you check if the wifi switch is on ?

Is it detecting your wifi network?

What errors are you getting if any?

Have you done the normal things like resetting the iphone turning it on and off etc.

If its not picking up your home network then check the routers privacy settings. Some are set to hide themselves.
