I have done this for years overnight with no detriment in battery life mothers 4 (mine originally) is still going strong and we got that on launch date of the 4 and just selling it on when 2 5s arrive(in the next few days)

Apples idea at saving battery.
Turn off mobile data to prevent this.
Settings , mobile , mobile data. Toggle to off.
Just remember to turn it back on when out of wifi range !

thank you very much guys
another question
I had mine 5s for nearly two weeks now, it's not insured with o2 or at all
noticed a dead pixel on the screen today! 😞
what should I do?
go to an o2 store or straight to Apple store?
cheers guys!
