upgrade to iphone 4s or 5

Hi guys, i currently have an iphone 3gs but i'm considering purchasing the iphone 4s or the iphone 5. i was wondering what you thought would be the best option?
is it worth paying £100 more for the iphone 5 or is the 4s just as good?

I would pay the extra and go for the 5. It's a lot faster and obviously the resell or trade value will be much better. The only problem is availability, the 16GB is in short supply but the 32GB and 64GB seem to be a little less in demand.

i was thinking that to be honest, if i were to get one i would probably go through the apple store as they always appear to have them in stock.
