unlocking an old phone

hello,

 

i have upgraded my phone and would like to unlock the old one so my daughter can use it. do i need PUK to do so?

However, if your daughter is also on O2 you don't need to do anything except resetting the phone (if iPhone, remove old iTunes account)

Not if the sim is no longer in it as it will request an unlock for the new phone.
