just been informed that now I have upgraded from iphone 6 to 7, can no longer use it as a lead device in a sharer plan ????

Yeah, there's no option, and the worst part is one of the web chat guys actually set up my iPad (which only has a 6GB data allowance) as the lead device, (and no I didn't ask him to) so before I can set up my iPhone (30GB) I need to get the iPad removed as the lead device.
Just extinguish them to understand hat needs to be done, seems way beyond the abilities of customer service.
What is really needed is a 2nd or 3rd line support option...someone who actually understands issues, rather than just reading a script....

They probably think there is a  time block on anything iPhone 7 related.... like unlocking or open code ..Rolleys

I honestly don't know what they think..

 

although..it seems that they just come out with the first excuse that they can think of, rather than actually find someone who understands and has the knowledge to resolve the issue....it's just a numbers game....get rid of the people with "hard to fix" problems...😤

I think @Toby will need to have the same patience looking for someone to understand what is needed. I guess the 3rd Line support as it stands would be a Guru but good luck with it.
