I've got home from work tonight and noticed no service on phone. Just got cut off from 02 web chat. Thought I'd ask here.

If the phones locked to EE it just wouldn't accept it.

Only way it can be screwed up more is by damaging the copper contacts. (Be gentle with it:))

Let us know how you get on.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

does it still say no service if you power off the phone and back on again?

sleep/wake button for 10 seconds and swipe to power down....

Have you checked the service status in your area?

I presume you had service earlier?

Try simply turning the iPhone off and then turn back on.

Ok

•change APN then back again. Restart phone.
•restart phone
•restore from backup
•reset network settings.
•check if any other O2 users in your area have issues.

Try those and let us know:)

Doubt it will be your APN but its just a generic list copied from another thread.
