no service/searching iphone 6

hi any help would be good,iphone is showing searching all the time,new sim card fitted by 02 (told that phone would be ok within 24 hrs) same problem even after returning to shop for no help from bored member(told basically phone was a brick and to upgrade)

in settings carrier has disappeared and in about network says not available,have done usual things but nothing seems to work and iphone is 2 months out of warranty

Did you buy the phone from new...or was it second hand? Just wondering if it was working previously?

phone was brand new on a 24 month contract,warranty ended in feb

its not a network problem as my wifes works fine also my sim works in her phone

I'd make an appointment with Apple for them to take a look at it.
They can run a diagnostic check in a few minutes.
