media messages to my mobile

Any time I am sent a media message I am unable to open it and I am sent a message from o2 saying "You've been sent a media message from .... View it at o2.co.uk/m/ by typing in your mobile number and pin ......."

I believe my phone is a 4S model.  What if anything can I do to simply receive media messages?

Have you got mobile data turned on and in a 3g signal area?
Make sure your apn is correct by resetting your network settings and checking here https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Apple-iOS-Devices-iPhone-iPad/Connecting-iPhone-to-Data-Services/m-p/5...
Finally, if still not working, call o2 and see if you are on the correct iphone data tariff http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus
