Hi I tried getting my iphone unlocked several times now with no success, how do I progress further with O2 to get it unlocked?

This is the latest reason why they say they can't unlatch...

The mobile number provided has not been used with the handset IMEI
provided. The two will need to be associated before we can unlatch.

Like I already said - it needs to be used on o2 network and the imei number that matches the phone needs to be shown in your MyO2.
It won't succeed any other way I'm afraid.
You need to do as we've said.

Hi MI5,

MyO2 shows my details and mobile number. Where can I see if it matches the IMEI?

I had another my guru session tonight, this time there saying they don't have details of my phone. I told them I bought the phone from carfone warehouse with an O2 contract. There now telling me to contact carfone warehouse to unlock it.

From carfone warehouse's website, it states you need to contact the network your device is locked to....

So basically both company are finger pointing at each other...

Hi @Anonymous I have just checked my O2 and it appears to be down at the moment. I can get on but nothing seems available. However when it starts working again you will find your IMEI in this section of the first page

You need to make a few calls and possibly get someone to call you too as good measure so that the system recognises the IMEI and the mobile number is associated with it. This is in all the help threads on unlocking and the tutorials written by community members.

Yet more incorrect rubbish touted by live chat I'm afraid.

Use the phone - check the imei is registered under "device deatils" in your MyO2 and click the unlock button - Simples wink

I know but as the question was asked directly to me I felt it only polite that I should reply.
