i am upgrading phones from an Iphone xs to a Iphone 12 pro

will i get a new 5g sim with my same phone number?

You will be sent a blank 5g sim and to activate it, you need to do a sim swap from your old sim Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update
