i bgot an upgrade on the 30 july an iphone 8 since i got it it has been going dead inbetween call cutting off or call failed also does it when i make calls or texts some of my apps crash too

Take it back to the store if bought in store or if online, call customer service for a returns number.
O2 will replace if faulty within the first 30 days.

Another option could be to take it direct to an Apple store for trouble shooting. If faulty they will exchange for a new phone straight away.
