my iphone 6 is stuck on a black screen with the apple logo wont switch on or off please help

great thanks that has brought the phone back to life but now i cant turn on wifi  !!

I think that is just needing maintenance in some way. All software collects background files. You should be able to find something on the app store.

Safari web cache etc. I don't know ios well so can't really comment on how it deals with that sort of thing.
