Ok well one question were all wondering.

Have you modified your phone? Eg jailbreaked it?

Ok, well unfortunately its can only be a hardware issue.

If you have tried all our suggestions I can only recommend to take it in for a repair:( sorry

I'm not sure what anybody can suggest as I assume the Apple bods would have done everything that we can suggest in the settings menu.

One last suggestion I can make is that you backup your phone and then try resetting it, but set it up as a new phone. During the setup process, when it prompts you to log in with your Apple ID, skip that step so that the phone is ready to go but not logged into any Apple service.

Then try turning on just iMessage but don't sign in with an Apple ID. It should still try and activate with just your mobile number, so see if you get any success.

If it doesn't work, then you can restore your phone to as it is now.

Thanks buffbuff that worked! Smiley Very Happy

I reset it back to a new install and could then access iMessage properly, i then restored from my backup and all is back working again! Woohoo.
