i accidentally got melted chocolate into the slot at the bottom of my iPhone. I cleaned it best I could, but now the microphone won't work. 

Is it covered by warrantee as I got it in march?

that is accidential damage and excluded from warranty repair apple do offer an out of warranty replacement scheme.

If you book an apple genius appointment and let them look at it they will give you a price for replacement.

Are you talking about the 1 year warranty that came with the iPhone or do you have an attached insurance cover ?

i have insurance via O2
