If I want to change back to an iPhone do I still need to get o2 to change the data package?

Probably a silly question but can live chat help with it if so?  There's a long wait time and I'm getting fed up with the distorted music!

Only if you want the specific idata functions but customer services are best but live chat may help !

iPhones will work on standard data but specific iPhone functions are limited to iData only.

Thanks.  I want to be able to make and receive calls (obviously!), use iMessage or text and use the internet.  Can I do that without changing?  Sorry for being thick!  I'm not sure I can deal with Live Chat...

Only visual voice mail will not work on non idata tariffs

This was a while back but I seem to remember tethering didn't work on non-idata settings, not sure if that's still the case.

Thanks @Sammy_boy, I've just tried and it looks as though it's still the case.  I'm currently on hold to O2 to get it changed.

Great hold music (better than a certain other network's Bieber cover!) but they really need to sort out the volume - I've got the speaker as low as it'll go and it's still distorted!

A quick question, how will I know when it's changed over, I'm not sure where to look on the phone?

It will update at midnight.
If you get it changed before cs go home it will be tonight, but otherwise midnight on the day they change it for you.
