I attempted to upgrade my phone this morning and I was able to get most of the way through but the website crashed after the payment page.
The money has been taken from my account and I have received lots of emails about the contract but no confirmation of my order.
Do I have a phone or not?

ditto although i haven't had any emails the money has been taken both buying out my current contract and putchasing the new phone no live chat available but assume no money would be taken if the order wasn't auccessful.

That's what I am hoping, but I don't trust them. I tried ringing on 202 but it told be to try the website, very helpful!

Check you recent orders in MyO2, it should show there, mine does. I also had emails and texts confirming the order details.

This has happened to me, spoke to o2 and they said it won't go through. Money will be refunded in 72 hours.
Tried again and same issue. So I would suggest o2 need to sort their website out!

I have now found My Orders and it does not show my order, so that means that they took the money without ordering the phone. I am now swearing a lot at my computer 😡
