anybody help as can get my upgraded iphone 7 to connect to hotspots 

looks connnected but does not go to log on page and google says no internet connection

Are you on contract as you can't get hotspots on pay as you go

O2 WiFi is free got everyone, it's WiFi extra that is restricted.
Try entering 1.0.0.0 in the address bar to force the registration page.
