iPhone 6s+ order status still broken

Hi all,

 

I pre-ordered my iPhone 6s+ early on the preorder day. I got confirmation emails to say my order has been received and I am seeing an order number when logged into My O2 on the web. 

 

However, when I go to check this status I get an error message that this page is currently unavailable. It's always been like this and isn't getting fixed, I'm starting to lose confidence now.

 

O2 support are telling me that "we don't know why the website says that". They did say that they have my order but I don't seem to have any way of tracking it.

 

Is there anywhere else or somebody else that can help me find this info?

You won't get any tracking info until the phone is dispatched.
Many threads on here saying the same thing.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Release day is the 25th. If all goes to plan and there are no problems, you will (as @MI5 said) get a tracking number. This thread answers many many questions....

Thanks, I understand that I won't get any tracking info until my order is despatched, but to take me to a broken page until then is surely not very professional?

 

How may people will be wondering the same thing as me? Surely just a "Your order is waiting for despatch" page would be better?

There have been a few pages broken/not working/glitching over the past couple of weeks. Annoying but until people like yourself report them ..we are never sure which ones are affected on a daily basis slight_frown

Hi Toby,

 

Yes all I'm getting when going to my order page is "This information is not available at the moment. Please try again later."

 

I know of people on O2 that have already had despatch emails so why is this page still broken? I cannot get an answer from O2 on whether I will get my 6s+ on launch day

I just called O2 and didn't really get anywhere.

 

I had this conversation:

 

Me: Could you please let me know when my phone will be despatched

O2: It will be any time up to 5 weeks

Me: But my preorder conformation says "Pre-order yours today and you'll get it on 25 September"

O2: I can't comment on that, I'm just told 5 weeks

Me: So could you please tell me when mine will be despatched

O2: No, we don't know when we are getting the phones from Apple

Me: So there is currently no way of knowing if I'll get it on 25th?

O2: I would think that if you ordered early enough you'll get it on Saturday but I can't tell you if you will or not

Me: Saturday or 25th?

O2: I don't know

 

This is about when I gave up, just guess I'll have to sit an wait and see.
