iPhone 6- PreOrder

Just a quick question regarding the iPhone 6. Will customers due an upgrade for their phone be given priority over pre-orders of the iphone 6?

Could I cancel my preorder with O2, get my £200 back that I paid with cash in store, go over to cpw and sort my O2 contract out with them? Keeping the same number aswell? As I know there is stock in cpw.

You would have to check that through CS on 202.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

We can't advise accurately on that, you need to speak with customer service.

I've just posted a seperate thread to get peoples attention, but also posting here.

I urge everyone who has been affected by O2's lies re: iphone 6 and 6+ delivery dates to report it here: https://ssl.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006mg74/contact

Hopefully enough of us will do it to make them investigate.

Yeah thanks I'm going to go tomorrow. Can't put up with being kept in the dark any longer.

Hello all.  Long time reader first time poster.

Like everyone else I'm still waiting from my phone.  Order details are:

iPhone 6

64g

Space grey

Order date 27 September

Delivery estimate 7 to 10 days (which I thought was overly long at the time)

I had just over a week left on my contact when pre-orders were taken and seriously considered paying out my contract early to go on the Refresh contract as I really wanted the phone (currently using iPhone 4).  I'm so glad I didn't as I would be still waiting and be even more out of pocket.

And like everyone else, trying to get a straight answer out of LC or CS is impossible.

Although I want my new toy as soon as possible and I'm willing to wait.  What is getting to me is the incorrect information received and LC / CS saying completely different things.

Surely Apple would be advising O2 an estimated delivery date for their order??  Then the information can be passed on to the customer?? I can't imagine a huge company like Apple being flippant regarding estimated deliveries ... it just doesn't make sense.

I agree with the above. it would be pretty poor if apple were not giving estimated delivery dates and quantities.

At least o2 should come out and pass the buck if that were the case. Say that we are kept in the dark with what is coming in.

That aside, o2 should be able to say we have got up to all orders from the 18th Sept and are working our way through 19th sept orders. That way you would have a good idea of where you stand.

Ordered mine in store on 16th! Phoned CPW today to see if they had any 64g space grey. They said none in any store I the country but 1000 128gb ones that they can deliver next day. O2 had neither anywhere.
