Just caught up with all the posts from today - no access all day as been in meetings but thought I'd update you on my pre-order if it helps anyone.
Pre-ordered the IP6+ 128 Gold at lunchtime on the 12th and completed at 3:30.
E-mail received at 14:43 advising me order is on it's way with a parcel/tracking number.
Text received at 15:40 with tracking number advising delivery estimated for Wednesday (24th).
Text received at 15:48 advising my 4G service is ready.
MyO2 status changed from 'In Progress' to 'Complete' and a parcel/tracking number showing.
UK Mail advising my order was collected at 15:27 with an estimated delivery for tomorrow.
Hope this helps people who pre-ordered the same model.

i pre ordered on the 12th at 0940 over the phone with a local store and it immediately generated a text with a reference number that O2 customer services doesnt recognise. There is also no record on their system of me placing an order. All the store will tell me is that it will come when it comes and it might be somewhere around the 7th. they actually in a polite/diplomatic way told me "dont call us, we'll call you"
my order ref number looks something like this: 67903042004120914000****
The only thing that the CS chap could tell me over the phone about this ref number is that its probably the longest number anybody has ever given him in his entire life
