Check you have MMS enabled in settings and text "active" to 2020 to get correct MMS settings on phone.

Text ACTIVE to 2020 and save the settings you receive. Reboot the phone and try again but bear in mind the cost. There's much better and free ways to send pictures.

Yes, but you can't iMessage an android or windoes phone etc.....
