Hi, sorry, I'm sure this has been asked many many times, so I appologise in advance.
I bought a new iPhone 5 64GB via Carphonewarehouse on Saturday morning (upgraded my current o2 package). They did the sim swap (I hope), and its been well over 24 hours now, and I still can not make, recieve or text from my phone. It has the O2 UK symbol, or 2G. But no bars/signal strength.
Is it just a matter of waiting longer for O2 to swap my sim over, or is there a more serious issue.
I have reset, removed and replaced the sim. Even set phone up as a new phone and restored. Still nothing.
Thanks for any replies.

In that case you need to talk again to O2 and ask for this to be done as a matter of urgency.

You may be best getting in touch with o2 customer services to make sure the sim swap has gone through

Can anyone here or at o2 please help me. Its been nearly 5 days now, and I still can not use my new iPhone 5 for calls or texts. I have rang O2, they said wait, I rang CPW who rang O2, who said wait.
This is stupid!

Have you tried requesting the sim swap again following the SMS message route or the web form again. http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/ or see this thread http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Apple-iOS-Devices-iPhone-iPad/Sim-Swap-Nano-Micro-Mini-Sim/m-p/292218#U...
hope that helps

The issue I have is that I traded my old 4s in when I bought this 5. The did the sim swap (so they said) then and said it would take 24 hours. I have rang CPW and O2, bith said they have all the details and to wait.
I cant do the sim swap thing again, as I cant recieve texts, on my old phone, as I dont have it, nor on this new phone, as it does not work.
