Hi,
I hope someone can help - Im relatively new to the iPhone
I have an iPhone 4 on contract and connected it to my home wifi to set up my phone (i was sat in the same room as the router) and had no problems.
I then realised as i moved away from the router, my phone would drop the wifi signal and return to using 3G.
Both parents have iPhones (iPhone 3 and iPhone4S) and never have problems with connecting to the wifi automatically or signal in any room in the house.
I have reset my network settings, re connected to the router, turned my router on and off and restored my phone through itunes. If i enter the same room as the router it will connect to the wifi and may last for around 30 minutes away from the router room, but then disconnects.
Does anyone have any other suggestions or should i take it to Genius?
Thank you in advance

Have you tried connecting your phone to a friends Wifi network to see if it behaves the same?
If you go into Settings, Wi-Fi and select your Wifi connection, have you tried pressing the "Forget this network" button and then reconnecting to it to see if it makes any difference?
If the iPhone is still the same, do as BandofBrothers suggests and book into an Apple store

When you say you are moving away from the router and the iPhone is dropping the Wifi signal and reverting to 3G...how far away are you talking?
