Hi. I am planing to purchase iPhone 12 Dual SIM. I am carrying 2 phones at the moment and I would I would like the more elegant option of 1 phone, 2 sims. I am at the moment on pay as you go, will upgrade to pay monthly, from my understanding this is needed for the eSIM. My second SIM would be a nano SIM from a foreign provider. My questions are: can the new O2 eSIM my default mobile number? Also can the the O2 eSIM be used while being default number for iMessages and FaceTime ? Thanks in advance.

You can choose either sim to be the default and change it at anytime.

iMessage and Facetime will only work on the default sim.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
