Well been having some chats with o2 saying there should be insurance before the end of the month. But as I said to o2 they should have waited and sorted insurance, I got a helpful collegue who I asked before I said any of this. The reason is (maybe) there is not a lot of iPad pro available and they like to know they have one to give if a claim, so they are creating a new plan exclusively for iPad pro

Of course I did @viridis. However I would seriously doubt even the extended cover provided by Apple Care would consider a phone dropped in the bath ...or launched off a pier into the sea as 'water damaged' ...Smiley Indifferent

Well insurance is fully available to purchase on the iPad pro for £14 a month, but I can't add it yet as I'm on a staff tariff and I start paying 13th December. Then I was told this might also affect iPad pro customers trying to add insurance to iPad pro any customers managed it
