Ok this is a new one I need help:) please don't take the mick haha.

I need to delete my old iCloud back up of my iphone4 however I'm getting an error message
"marks iPhone cannot be deleted as the backup is in use"

I have also tried via the windows portal to iCloud to no avail.

I have tried my normal suggestions of restarting, reinstalling iOS and back ups and resetting all settings to default.

My old Iphone is definitely not in use as I have blanked it ready for selling it on. However I cannot work out where else it would be used. The 5 has finished restoring from iCloud long ago.

Help me please:) I don't want to give apple anymore of my money haha.

i fixed it by forcing the iPhone 4 to backup to the iCloud you have wiped yours but if you force it wiped it should comeplete and let you delete the old back up.
