cloned phone?

Anonymous

Hi Everyone,

My wife lost her phone 2 weeks ago. I was due an upgrade so ordered an iphone 5 and gave her my iphone 4 - Simple? - Definitely not!

We had several problems - wrong sim sent to me. New sim eventually sent to my wife and acivated but it wouldn't work. Apparently it had extra blocking. this was lifted and the phone worked.

Except that the two phones seem to be connected. If she deletes my old contacts - they disappear from my new phone. If i re add them they re appear onto her phone - Any ideas? Smiley Frustrated

You need to reset your old phone to factory settings and your wife needs to open her own Apple account. At the moment you have 2 phones on your apple account so they replicate when they sync to the server.

You can do it off the phone or on a PC https://appleid.apple.com/uk/
