Hello,

 

I am receiving a lot of blank and nuisance calls nowadays and so I would like to change my number.

As @MI5 said you can have one free change of number, however for some nuisance calls they are from automated dialers so there is a chance you will still receive them after the change. Plus some numbers they issue are recycled numbers (after having been through cleansing), so just be aware that this may not completely resolve your issue

Depending on the device you have there are ways to block numbers
