Will iPhone 5S be available in O2 store on Friday 20th September 2013?

Hello, does anyone know if the iPhone 5S will be available to purchase from a O2 retail store on Friday 20th September 2013? I called into my local branch yesterday and I was informed that they would not have any physical stock in store on that date and that I would only be able to order one. I don't want to travel all the way to my local store and then wait in a queue to find out that they have none in stock. It will be easier to just place the order online.

Does anyone knoe what time the online store will be open for the 5s tomorrow and usually how long does it take for o2 to deliver phones when u order online?

They claim 8am... then again - who knows.

Availablity could be anything - but the rumour is 8 weeks till you get your phone.

Apparently, according to a few online news articles - this shouldnt have been a surprise.

O2 dont actually have the iPhone on 4G at the moment (hence why I was told that even though Ill get a 4G Contract, I wont pay for 4G till it launches).  This is why, again according to a few online articiles Ive read, O2 wont have stock.  They were given to networks who are offering 4G at launch!

O2 will get the hand sets when they have 4G!!

I refuse to believe that O2 won't be shipping the phone for 8 weeks. That's the end of November.

Hi,

One advantage of taking a 4g contract up is the offer of extra data if you sign up before the 31/10/13, which 3g can be used on too.

Their is lots of people surmising about iphone 5s stock levels.

Their will be happy people and their will be disappointed people.

Happens on every launch.

I kind of proved my patience with getting the iphone 5 from Apple lasy year.

8 weeks is too long thats not possible, i got an email from o2 like an hpour ago saying how u can order the 5s/5c tomorrow. i think if you're one of the first to order youll get it like 3 business days but i was told today that its only people who order in shop will wait 8 weeks

I have to order in store to get the O2 Open discount, so I'd be royally peeved if they say it's an eight week wait for the phone when Apple direct are fulfilling orders in a few days and other carriers are too... I can't believe that O2 would be so rubbish, so I'm sure it won't be eight weeks!

I spoke to my local store today and their assistant manager confirmed I could place my order online and call into a store to have the discount added retrospectively. I'm naturally apprehensive. Am currently on hold to confirm phone orders can't accept my open code!
