Will iPhone 5S be available in O2 store on Friday 20th September 2013?

Hello, does anyone know if the iPhone 5S will be available to purchase from a O2 retail store on Friday 20th September 2013? I called into my local branch yesterday and I was informed that they would not have any physical stock in store on that date and that I would only be able to order one. I don't want to travel all the way to my local store and then wait in a queue to find out that they have none in stock. It will be easier to just place the order online.

Only o2 will know that and it maybe classed as sensitive information.

If that is the advice given by the store then that will be all the info they have so go with that.

From what i've read and heard it could seem the available units in store will be for Upgrades.

You could try anyway or try your local Apple Store from 8am or CPW

Again stocks will be limited.

They always are on a launch and for sometime after.

Hi guys,

The iPhone 5s is not available for pre-order. It’s available from Friday 20 September. You’ll be able to buy online or over the phone. In stores, you’ll be able to place an order with delayed delivery.

Stock information has been updated and this is the fairest way for everyone to have a chance of getting one.

What are your thoughts on this? Its a different approach to last time.

There are lots of threads on the cimmunity forum regarding this.

Some are saying o2 stores will have available units for customers upgrading only.

I would say if your determined to try and get one then go down to the o2 shop at whatever time you decree as reasonable and or visit your Apple Store at 8am.

Theirs going to be a lot of disappointed people.
