Will a new SIM fit my new phone?

Hi all, I hope you can help,

I have an O2 contract for my current iPhone 4 (yes really!) and I've just bought an iPhone SE but the SIM won't fit.  

If I purchase a new "pay monthly SIM only deal" will I get a SIM that fits the SE?  I've found the deal I want but when I select it it says "you're using an iphone and it isn't 5G ready", but I don't want to use my current phone and I can't find anywhere to say that I will be using an SE.

I have a pathetic grasp of what I'm looking for, it's possible that the answer is blindingly obvious.

@Billy-Bob Check to see if your old sim has perforations. If it does, you can pop out the right size and use that temporarily. You can then order your sim only deal using your new phone.

Hi, thank you both for such quick replies,

I've just checked and the SE didn't come with a SIM (bought from the Apple store) and the iPhone 4's SIM doesn't have any perforations which would make it smaller to fit the SE.

If I purchase the pay monthly SIM only deal will I be sent a SIM which will fit the SE?

Yes as mentioned all sims come multiple sized so you pop out the size you require to fit the phone you have. Good luck and welcome to the o2 Community Forum

Sims didn't used to come pop out different sizes.

Old sims were one size.

All sims are pop out now so the sim you receive will be pop-out to fit any phone.

Your sim will be pop out ~ be careful though when you pop out.
