Just to update you:
I went back to the Apple shop yesterday. I explained to the advisor what the problem has been since the restore and he read the notes from my last visit. He did not even do any diagnostics on the phone he just replaced it for me.
Fingers crossed this phone will work
Well done gemz. Just shows perseverance does pay off...Oh and good customer care.
I really hope this one proves trouble free..
