WiFi Extra not working on London Underground?

About 3 weeks ago or so, my iPhone X stopped being able to pick up the O2 free WiFi service on the London underground network. Whenever I try to connect, I get a message saying "Unable to join the network WiFi Extra". I've had the phone for 2 years and it has never had any problem accessing this before.

I wonder if there is a problem with the WiFi network? Or if not, then any advice on what the problem might be is most welcome!

Yes there has been a few reports on here of issues at some stations.

I'd call customer service to report it and add your issue to the list so that they are aware.

Numbers to call here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Or advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
