From the looks of it, it means your shiny new iPhone 6 has been placed in a box ready for UK Mail to collect. It probably wont be collected until tomorrow though for delivery on launch day

This is conclusive proof that phones are not going to be dispatched on launch day as they said, but delivered on launch day. I was told by someone who works at UK mail that they'd lost the O2 contract but it looks like they've muddled that info up (perhaps they lost another carriers contract - but not O2) so I will be at the depot at 6am to grab my phone before it gets loaded onto the van.

If mine changes to dispatched, anyway. It hasn't yet.

Oh I've just noticed that says 17th! Which means it'll hit the UK Mail depot on the 18th, with an instruction to hold til the 19th. Which means I will be able to intercept it on the 18th!
