There are 2 options to back up the iPhone:
1) iCloud
2) On the computer
There are also 2 ways to restore an iPhone:
1) From the back up on the computer or the back up on iCloud
2) Set up as a new iPhone
Apart from iCloud backing up less, are there any other differences between the 2 types of back ups?
Which is the best back up option?

iCloud backups will also happen automatically when the phone is on charge and connected to wifi which can be a plus as you can just set it up and then forget about it as the phone will do it itself.
I don't think it is possible to do the same with an iTunes backup
