WAP Settings from 2020

Dear all,

I've just got an iPhone and received the WAP settings from 2030, but could not save the settings.

So I texted 'ACTIVE' 2020 and got a reply saying:

"Unfortunately we had problems dealing with your request for settings. Please contact Customer Service."

I called the customer service and they told me that I only have to connect to iTunes and the settings will be automatically setup.

I'm quite confused because I have connected to iTunes days before but still received the settings afterwards.

Does anyone know how else I can receive the settings or do I not need the settings if I can browse the Internet?

Thanks

WAP Settings from 2020

you need the settings from here http://shop.o2.co.uk/update/settings.html if you need to change it has to be done manually depending on your tariff, if iphone contract and they do not match idata etc then just do a reset network settings
iPhone 8 256gb on yearly refresh 20gb tariff +10gb free data
iPad Pro 256gb refresh
My first mobile was in 1995 a CM-R111 from sony on Cellnet.

WAP Settings from 2020

thanks for your help!

i am on a iPhone contract and the settings were different (i.e. not 'mobile.o2.co.uk' and not 'wap.o2.co.uk')

when i reset it, it is unchanged from 'idata.o2.co.uk'. Shall i just manually change it?

So why do you need to change from idata as that is correct for iphone contracts.

Do you have another problem?

WAP Settings from 2020

If you have idata.o2.co.uk :robotindifferent:

Change it to

wap.o2.co.uk

God knows why o2 are changing the settings, because they don't work. Use wap.o2.co.uk at least until they sort their settings out :robotwink:
