Hi @Anonymous Advice here from Apple

https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201436

  1. Go to the Phone app, then tap the Voicemail tab.
  2. Tap Set Up Now.
  3. Create a voicemail password, then tap Done.
  4. Enter your password again to confirm it, then tap Done.
  5. Select Custom or Default. ...

Tap Done to save your greeting.

 

Edited to add.If you forget your voicemail password, there's no way to reset it from your iPhone. You need to contact your carrier to reset your password. If you insert a new SIM card, you might lose the voicemails that you saved on your iPhone.

Call customer service http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus and check that you are on idata plan.
vvm won't work unless you have the correct data package.
