is there a way to upgrade 6 months early? If you're staying with 02, but need a new phone, surely there's a way?  Some sort of deal you can do. It works for them because they get to tie you to them for another contract term?

If u just want one.of the latest fones.. try this

Find.out how much o2 will pay for your old fone and see if its enougn to pay the remainder of ur contract.

Try 202 and go through accounts n disconnections and see if they can work something for you.

Some phones have in the past came with a deal to let you pay off and upgrade early.

The only way to upgrade early is to pay off the remaining minimum term of your contract ie. 6 months times your monthly tariff (minus any bolt ons).

Alternatively you would have to buy your own phone and use your present sim. I believe some independents will buy out your remaining contract if you upgrade through them, phones4U spring to mind.

They can get your phone repaired if it's faulty.
