Re: Unwanted Apps

If they don't wiggle on holding them down with the cross that means they are baked into the iOS as stock apps and cannot be deleted.

If they are downloaded apps you can do it in itunes but if they are stock apps you can't delete them.

If they are apps you don't use you could place them into a folder away from your homepage.

Re: Unwanted Apps

It is annoying that Apple force us to have certain apps.  I know they have to try to cater for everyone but some apps are just not essential at all.  I don't know anybody who used the stocks app......

Re: Unwanted Apps

Hi Gemz

I use the stocks app when I'm getting ready to sell some of my shares.

I don't agree with the 'Tips' app being part of iOS 8.

I don't use passbook - yet - unless they allow us to use Apple Pay.

Newsstand is useless to me. I don't use iBooks or Podcasts either.

Re: Unwanted Apps

All phones basically have their stock apps which most people never use. There are ways round removing them but the average person just learns to live with them and remove them from the home pages.

Re: Unwanted Apps

I have my Subway card on Passbook but it's strange becaue both apps are needed on the iPhone so why would I used Passbook when it is the same on the Subway card app (QR code).
