Unlocking phones

Hi there, I recently bought myself an iPhone 5 outright and have given my girlfriend my previous iPhone 4. She's on a different network.

I've successfully changed to the iPhone 5 but can only request to unlock my phone online if I provide my phone number.

Problem is the iPhone 4 no longer has a number associated with it and I don't want to unlock my iPhone 5. Is there anyway I can sort this online?

Thank you in advance.

Use the number you used to use in the 4. It's only so the network can associate the number with the IMEI on the network. The 4 will be unlocked via the IMEI number, not the phone number.

Just fill in the unlock form with yout iphone 4 IMEI number and your present mobile number. If it's been used in that phone you won't have a problem.

The phone is unlocked via itunes and the IMEI so it won't unlock the iphone 5.
