Unlocking new iPhone 6s

hi so got my email saying it was successful and to swap sim for different network and follow prompts on iTunes, only I never got any prompts, switched sim asked by phone to input my iTunes details and that was all ( I put in a three sim and the 3 icon came up instead of the o2 one and got messages from three welcoming me)

 

so is so is that it ?

Obviously if it is showing the 3 network it has been a successful unlock and you are now with 3.

Is the phone working properly?

Yes, there is no need to connect to iTunes unless the carrier update doesn't come through automatically.
