Hi there @Anonymous . There's an option in your MyO2 account, accessible through the O2 website, to get your phone unlocked. You'll need to have at least £15 of credit though, as this is the cost to get a handset unlocked on PAYG. Once you've submitted the request, the handset should be unlocked within 24 hours. The unlocking process will fully complete whenever you insert a SIM card from another network.
You can find out more here http://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-sims-and-devices/unlocking-your-iphone-and-using-it-on-another-network
Hope this helps

There is a community help thread here too http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Other-Products-Services/Unlocking-an-O2-phone-to-use-a-different-SIM-ca...
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
