Hi
I've very kindly been offered an iPhone 6. The phone was on a o2 monthly contract which expired a few months ago. The sim is now deactivated and my friend no longer has an O2 contract, I don't know if they can unlock the phone as a customer.
If I buy an O2 PAYG sim will I be able to unlock the phone by paying or will I need to wait 12 months as a new PAYG customer?
Thanks

iPhone is exempt from 12c months rule, just make sure you are on the classic PAYG tariff.

Hi @Anonymous Welcome to our community!
I'm curious to hear how you like the phone when you've used it for a while - please do pop back in to tell us?
