Unlock my old iPhone 5

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi, I've just upgraded to an iphone 6 from my iPhone 5 and wanted to unlock my old phone as I wanted to give it to my son on another network, I went through the right process filling out the form that I will to ask me to but when it came to the security bit it said I did not pass, i've done this twice now. Why does this not work

It's because you have entered the wrong answer to your security question or the wrong tariff.
Call CS on 202 and they can sort it by running some other security checks for you.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Only o2 can unlock the phone for you. Use the unlock form rather than risk getting it unlocked by other means.

45 mins and you gave up?
You do realise it can take up to 28 days to get the code once requested, don't you?
