Unable to use mobile data on iPhone 4s

Anonymous
Not applicable

I'm unable to use my mobile data on my Iphone 4s. I've got 500mb and i've tried

  • Resetting network settings
  • changing APN from payandgo to Idata/mobile
  • airplane mode on and off
  • taking the sim out and dusting it

I dont know what else to do. Not even sure if the 3g symbol appears in the corner anymore.

Hi

Look here http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Apple-iOS-Devices-iPhone-iPad/Connecting-iPhone-to-Data-Services/m-p/54...

Do you have any 3G etc symbol in the phones status bar. Please re check.

Do you have any data allowance left.

Try Settings , General , reset , reset Netwirk Settings.

Check your masts via http://status.o2.co.uk

Have you made any changes to your account? Or is it a new sim or anything else, or was it all working fine and has suddenly stopped?

Are you sure you have 500mb left?

I only ask as I apparently "used" 500mb of data in 40 secs last Saturday and it wiped all the data off that account for the whole month.....!!

Yes I have 500mb still and the 3G is not visible. No changes have been made nor is it a new sim. I've never been able to access my mobile data since getting this sim which is around 3 years ago

If it's been 3 years you really do need to speak to CS to get account checked or go into an O2 store to get phone settings looked at.
