Un latching request rejected

I am exasperated with O2. I have had my unlatching request rejected twice. The first request was for security reasons and I was told to try again. The second request it was rejected because they had received multiple unlatching requests. I need to put a Canadian SIM card with a Canadian mobile number for the next 3 weeks and I fully intend to go back to O2 when I am back in the UK. I am seriously considering using another provider as I am unable to get through to anyone to discuss. Please help. Annabel

I'm not sure why o2 have introduced this immediate too many attempts rule, but it's a dumb rule.
CS is your only hope now.

The second request is now deemed one time too many. Why on earth should that be an issue. Just ridiculous.
