My wife and I have just upgraded our phones to iPhone 5s

since the upgrade met wife is getting my email messages as well as them being revived byme  how do I undo this

Are you both using the same apple Id on both phones for iMessage ? If you are on one of phones go into settings-messages- send and receive and tap on apple id and sign in with a different apple id.

Delete the email account off the phone which you dont want to receive your  emails.

I think Penny is right, it sounds as if you have the same email account set up on both phones.
