the fault finding includes getting a new sim from o2 (elimintaes sim issues)

phone resets (temp glitches)

and lastly a restore in itunes to rule out software issues

Then lastly if in warranty an apple genius appointment to diagnose and if hardwar replace the iphone

iPhone 11 Pro 256gb on unlimited data
iPad Pro 12.9” 2020 256gb refresh o2 family discount
Apple Watch series 4
My first mobile was in 1995 a CM-R111 from sony on Cellnet.

no real problems with our 2 4s but would advise you book a genius appointment at apple and get it checked whilst in warranty if faulty it will be replaced.

Assuming you have done all self help like new sim resets etc

iPad Pro 12.9” 2020 256gb refresh o2 family discount

Have you checked that. 02 is not undergoing mast works in your area.

Are family and friends getting good signal where you are.

Simply turning the iPhone off and on helps reset it which I do once a week.

Also there's the virtual battery pull of turning off the phone then hold the power button down followed by the home button until the apple sign appears. Let go of the home button followed by the power button.

I've used the 4 , 4s and now the 5 and have always found then to hold onto signal better than most phones.

Hope all resolves for you.
